Well amidst all the fun and excitement anticipating the fiesta this friday. Well i just felt that we needed to say a prayer. so here goes.
Dear Lord,
We started preparing for this fiesta since months ago. The journey wasn't smooth sailing, we had many hiccups along the way, experiencing irritation and frustration sometimes with people that we were working with. However, beneath all the unhappiness, thank you for all the valuable lessons we have learnt along the way, to overcome all these obstacles, tolarating all the nonsense.
Often, we did not have time for our schooolwork, but we had to stop for mid years, and now we've resumed work. While the results will be coming back for our mid-years this week, help us to accept whatever results that we get, and not let it affect us too much and hinder our performance for this fiesta.
Lord, please give all the councillors, especially the sec fours and fives the strength to carry on the critical planning and preparations for this friday. When we feel really tired and exhasuted, lift us up. When things just don't seem the way they are, help us see the postive side of it. 4 days is a really short time to pull things together, help us to make the best use out of it.
On the day itself, we really really pray for GOOD WEATHER. we pray that we'll be able to ignite that IJ SPIRIT in every single student and staff of the school. we pray that we will be able to cope with any hiccups that come along the way. we pray that we will be able to attract the crowd. most importantly, we pray for the safety and health for all :)
Thank you for blessing us with a great team that has been helping us so far: Our councillors, the teachers, especially pok, the office staff, the parent volunteers, aunty gerry, uncle pat, mrs vincent, and all those who have made our work smoother and easier for us. and all those that have been continously given us support all the way.
Thank you for watching over us. Continue guiding us, and please lord, i hope this isn't too much to ask, but let this fiesta be a success :)
